Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest route, and it is immediate — nothing to wait for and no one to email.

  1. Open Sanctora and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
  3. Read what will be removed, then type DELETE to confirm.
  4. Your account and everything in it are deleted straight away, and you are signed out.

If you cannot sign in

Locked out of your account? We will handle it for you.

  1. Email privacy@davidlegacysoftware.com using the button above.
  2. Send it from the email address registered to your Sanctora account. This is how we verify the request is really yours — we will not delete an account on the word of a different address.
  3. We confirm receipt, delete the account, and email you when it is done.

Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, because subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us. Cancel in the Play Store or App Store to stop future charges.

How long it takes

Deleting from inside the app is immediate — your account is gone by the time the screen closes. Emailed requests are actioned within 30 days, and usually much sooner; you will get an email confirming when it is complete.

This cannot be undone. Prayer journals are not recoverable once deleted. If you want to keep a copy of anything you have written, save it before requesting deletion.

Just want a break?

You do not have to delete your account to step away. You can turn off all notifications in the app’s settings and simply stop using it — your journal stays private and untouched until you come back.
